Why I Haven’t Posted

Ok, I would’ve posted much sooner and with more content except I have been fighting with my still very difficult cellular carrier, Unicel. I have to once again urge anyone and everyone to stay away from Unicel. Their network is down again and I can’t receive or place calls for the umpteenth time.

I can’t stand cellular service providers that are horrible companies.

How Cool is This WiFi Gadget

Hawkings Technology has delivered a potential knockout blow with their latest release, HWL2 WiFi Locator Professional Edition. This little nit-nack is a WiFi locator that works both on Windows and Macintosh, although it seems that they think Mac users should pay more since the prices are $99 and $129 - respectively.

DaimlerChrylser 70 miles per gallon car Seen here in a drawing, DaimlerChrylser announced the creation of a highly efficient and very environmentally friendly, fishy vehicle. Unfortunately, this amazing creation will not be mass produced by DaimlerChrysler, although some aspects of the technology may find ways into future vehicles. Check it out at MSNBC.com

Apple Leaving IBM for Intel

It’s official, Apple will be working with Intel to use Intel’s latest microprocessors for Macs coming out mid-2006. Watch Jobs keynote address at the WWDC earlier today in San Francisco.

Anticipation Awaits Apple’s Conference

It is expected that Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs will announce a departure for Apple from IBM and their microprocessor production agreement. Later today at the 2005 Worldwide Developers Conference’s Keynote speech, Jobs will take the stage to most likely introduce new products and bring the Mac community up to speed on where the company is at, and where it’s headed.

Sun Microsystems is spending money, that’s not the surprise. What’s a bit of a surprise is the spending on sites like Forbes.com, Bloomberg.com and MarketWatch. It appears Sun has finally realized that business decision makers are also on the web, just like everyone else.
