Movies and TV ##- Just A Little Bite Out of The Apple

Filed under: techNews — admin @ 6:50 pm

It’s all over the web, you’re not finding anything “announcement-wise” hear that you probably haven’t already read today. But in the case you are looking for a bit of insight into Apple’s recent announcements of the upcoming iTV, then you’ve come to the right place.

I know there are devices that perform such tasks as the yet to be released iTV, but this is Apple Computer and we all know by now that integration and ease-of-use are not only priorities of Jobs and Co., they’re the backbone of the entire corporation. So I’m fairly confident that iTV will rock, and how sweet is the new iTunes Movie Store? Although I don’t think it should be called, but probably more deserving of iMovie Store.

Oh ya, Apple also happened to unleash another iPod demon in the revamped shape of the iPod nano, and the re-shaped iPod Shuffle.

I Spy With MY Little “i” a New iMac

Filed under: techNews — admin @ 12:07 pm

Apple announced there’s a new, completely different line of iMacs on the block. The new line features a new 24-inch iMac. Apple new tagline is Faster. Bigger. Brighter. And with the base model starting at 17-inches, a mid-level 20-inch iMac, and now the largest iMac ever at 24-inches, Apple seems to know what consumers are wanting ##- more real estate!

The fastest iMac ever, the 24-inch iMac provides professional performance along with the convenience of an all-in-one design. Like its 17-inch and 20-inch siblings, it features the new 64-bit Intel Core 2 Duo processor with speeds ranging from 1.83GHz to 2.33GHz. The new processor delivers up to 50% more performance than the previous 20-inch iMac. It also doubles the amount of L2 cache, the twin cores sharing 4MB between them.(2) The result? Turbocharged performance, making it easier ??? and more fun ??? than ever to work with digital photos, movies, music, and the web.

Obviously these iMacs will come standard with the iLife suite and other amazing Apple applications. For some specs released on the new iMacs visit Apple.

Apple’s Cooking Again

Filed under: techNews — admin @ 1:44 pm

Rumors are abound that the much anticipated iTunes Movie Store is now actually on the horizon. Apple Insider is reporting a possible announcement from Apple Computer next week. Personally, I think the world knows it’s inevitable. I have no idea what the price for flick will be, the resolution, or the speed in which the servers will be able to deliver the file. But that might just be the reason why we haven’t heard of anything regarding the store until now.

Will this change the industry like iTunes and the iTunes Music Store. Possibly. Only time will tell, but the official announcement has still not come from Apple yet. Let’s wait and see.
