Where is The iPhone?

If any readers don’t know it by now, Unicel (one of the larger cellular providers in the state of Vermont) SUCKS! I am finally jumping ship and switching to Sprint/Nextel. Here’s a bit of my latest dealings with the horrible business known as Unicel:

I somehow lost my charger travling, probably
wasn’t packed into one of my bags real well and came out
on a luggage rack or something. So, I go to the closest
Unicel dealer (which is my phone company) and ask about a
charger for it. They don’t have one for this model,
and they say I can’t get one for the house but maybe a car one. The
guy tells me that with an adapter they have it will work.
So I buy the charger and the adapter and go home. I get
home and try to hook it up only to realize the adapter
does not fit the charger ##- so it doesn’t work. I go back
to the Unicel store and the guy who sold it to me is at
lunch. The girl working is not to anxious to help me, she
has 100 or so little cards she’s scanning but informs me
that they don’t have anything that will work for my phone
at that store, and I could try a different location (she
doesn’t offer to call them and see if they have what I
need). So frustrated I ask if I can return what I bought
and she says yes but I’ll have to wait until she’s done
scanning her little cards. So I ask her if there’s any
place in the mall that might be able to sell me the
charger I need. She tells me to check the Verizon store
and come back to do the return in a little bit. I go to
the V-store and they only have a car charger ##- noticing
my battery is nearly dead I buy it for a ridiculous price.
I then go back to the Unicel store and try to return my
no-good charger and no-good adapter. That same girl tells
me that I can’t get the cash I paid just 30 minutes ago
for it, that it has to be credited to my account. Now I’m
getting really pissed. Since I have no other choice for
refund I say fine, so she attempts to start the process
when she realizes the guy that sold me the charger and
adapter never entered it on my account, so she can’t
credit my account for it. She goes to get him in the back
of the store to refund me and he comes out and says he
accidentally gave me the wrong adapter, so he gave me a
different one. I try it there and the adapater fits the
charger. BUT, it’s not charging my phone. The car adapter
from Verizon works! otherwise my phone would
be dead and I’ll have done wsa wasted nearly $100 on
adapters and chargers that will get credited to an account
that I will be forced to cancel because Unicel’s service sucks!

This is really sucking! I need to get a different provider
and a new phone, because I think the loss of my phone
service is inevitable. Also means I need to do a ton of
data entry to save my numbers since Unicel informed me that I
can’t transfer the numbers in the phone or my number to a
new plan…

This sucks…
